It is usual to state that the dog was the auxiliary of man and bred as such, for hunting, protection and much later for herding livestock, guarding the home and farm and for company, the dog consoling man for being man.

This year’s FCI IPO FH World Championship was held on 10-14 April in the surroundings of Ebeltoft, Denmark. This is in Jutland - Denmark’s beautiful nose - and close to the sea.

Actually, I've always had cats (Persians, Siamese, Chartreux). I remember there used to be a Chow Chow near where I lived when I was a kid, and that became one of my favourite breeds.

The Swedish Kennel Club (SKK) has a long history of working actively with health and soundness of pedigree dogs. In August 2011 an important step towards healthier dogs was taken when the SKK Department for Breeding and Health was formed.

One simple thing makes all events difficult: satisfy all people visiting there. It is just necessary to understand no matter how big a show you organise, that different people are visiting with different needs.

Traditionally, the show season in Croatia starts with double CACIB shows in our capital city – Zagreb. The Croatian Kennel Club hosted a 2-day show in Zagreb on March 9th and March 10th.

The show season is well underway in Norway, and two of the international shows of 2013 have been hosted in Bø and Kristiansand, respectively.
